The M.A. FORD 13850004 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in non-ferrous metal applications. With a 0.5-inch mill diameter, a 1.5-inch length of cut, and a 4-inch overall length, this tool fits standard 0.5-inch straight-cylindrical shank toolholders. The 3-flute geometry combined with a 36-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The uncoated solid carbide construction provides rigidity and dimensional stability in demanding cutting environments. This is a centercutting tool, allowing plunge entry as well as conventional side milling. It is part of the M.A. FORD Series 138 long-reach end mill family.

This end mill is intended for machining non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, copper, and similar materials. The right-hand cut and right-hand spiral flute configuration are standard for conventional CNC machining center spindles.
