The M.A. FORD. 13825002F is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations on non-ferrous metals. It features a 0.25-inch cutting diameter, a 0.5-inch length of cut, and a 4-inch overall length with a straight cylindrical 0.25-inch shank. The 36-degree helical flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. A titanium diboride (TiB2) coating improves surface hardness and wear resistance, extending tool life in demanding applications. This end mill is centercutting, allowing plunge entry, and is built from micrograin carbide stock for consistent edge retention. It is suited for use by machinists and CNC operators working in production or job-shop environments.
This end mill is optimized for primary use in non-ferrous metal applications, including aluminum, brass, copper, and similar materials. The right-hand cut, right-hand flute configuration is the standard orientation for conventional and climb milling on vertical machining centers and manual knee mills.
