The M.A. FORD 13818752R.060 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling of non-ferrous metals. It features a 3/16 inch cutting diameter with a 0.060 inch corner radius that blends the floor and wall of a milled pocket, reducing stress concentrations and improving surface finish in a single pass. The three-flute, right-hand spiral geometry supports both roughing and finishing operations. With a bright uncoated finish and centercutting capability, this end mill seats directly into standard straight-bore toolholders and handles full-depth plunge entries without a pre-drilled pilot hole. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers working with aluminum, brass, copper, and similar non-ferrous stock will find this tool well-suited to tight-tolerance slotting, profiling, and pocket work.
This end mill is built for use in CNC machining centers and manual knee mills where non-ferrous metals are the primary workpiece material. The regular-length flute geometry and 1/2 inch length of cut make it appropriate for shallow-to-medium depth pockets and contour passes. The straight-cylindrical shank mounts directly into collet chucks, end mill holders, and hydraulic toolholders compatible with a 3/16 inch bore. The 2 inch overall length keeps overhang short, which supports rigidity and minimizes deflection during aggressive side-milling passes on aluminum and similar materials.

Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer or spindle lock is engaged before inserting or removing the end mill. Seat the shank to the full recommended insertion depth in the toolholder and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear and degrades corner radius geometry.
