The M.A. FORD 13812504 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling of non-ferrous metals and similar materials. Built to Series 138 specifications, it features a 1/8 inch (0.1250 inch) cutting diameter, a 1/2 inch length of cut, and a 1-1/2 inch overall length. The three-flute, spiral-flute geometry with a 36-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This is a centercutting tool, allowing plunge entry directly into workpiece material. The straight cylindrical shank accepts standard 1/8 inch collets and tool holders. Solid carbide construction provides rigidity and wear resistance suited to tight-tolerance work on aluminum, brass, copper, and other non-ferrous stock.
This end mill is suited for light-duty to medium-duty milling operations on non-ferrous metals in machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills.
