Ground from micrograin solid carbide, this tool delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed for aluminum, brass, copper, and similar materials. It features a 0.1250-inch cutting diameter, a 0.25-inch length of cut, and a 36-degree helical flute geometry that promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. A titanium diboride (TiB2) coating provides low friction and surface hardness suited to non-ferrous workpiece materials. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling technicians in production and job-shop environments.
The 13812501F belongs to M.A. FORD Series 138, designed specifically for non-ferrous metal cutting. With a 0.125-inch straight-cylindrical shank and a 1.5-inch overall length, it fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders used in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
