The M.A. FORD 135B37501 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling of non-ferrous metals and similar materials. With a 0.375 inch (3/8 inch) mill diameter and a 1 inch length of cut, this single-end tool delivers consistent performance in contouring, profiling, and 3D surface work. The 37-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Its bright, uncoated finish makes it well suited for aluminum, brass, copper, and other non-ferrous workpiece materials. CNC machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users of this end mill in production and job-shop environments.
The 135B37501 fits standard CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and similar setups requiring a 3/8 inch shank. With a 2.5 inch overall length and a right-hand cutting and flute direction, it works in conventional toolholders including collet chucks and end mill holders designed for 3/8 inch shanks. The Series 135B configuration targets non-ferrous metal applications where sharp geometry and an uncoated carbide substrate provide the best cutting performance. This tool is a single-end design with a spiral flute type and regular length classification.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and vertical mills accepting a 3/8 inch shank diameter. Intended for non-ferrous metal workpieces (material code N) including aluminum, brass, and copper alloys per Series 135B application guidelines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard toolholding procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before loading or unloading the tool. Seat the shank fully into the collet or end mill holder and verify runout before beginning a cut. Consult the machine manufacturer and tool manufacturer feeds-and-speeds data for non-ferrous applications before initiating the program.
