The M.A. FORD. 13575000N is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision material removal in metalworking and machining applications. With a 3/4 inch diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 0.03 inch corner radius, this tool is engineered for both roughing and finishing operations on non-ferrous metals. The 2-flute, right-hand spiral design with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The micrograin carbide construction provides wear resistance and edge retention across demanding production cycles. It is a single-end, centercutting tool suitable for plunge and contour work.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, copper, and similar materials are the primary workpiece. The straight-cylindrical shank mounts directly into compatible toolholders. With a 4 inch overall length and a 1-7/8 inch reach length, it handles applications requiring moderate depth access without sacrificing rigidity. The bright, uncoated finish is appropriate for non-ferrous cutting where coating buildup on the workpiece surface is a concern.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece material is non-ferrous metal per Series 135N application data.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is locked out before tool changes. Seat the shank fully and evenly in the toolholder to the recommended engagement depth per the toolholder manufacturer's specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator after mounting to confirm concentricity before beginning a cut.
