The M.A. FORD. 13437500 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composites, and engineered materials. It features a 3/8 inch cutting diameter, a 7/8 inch length of cut, and a 3/8 inch shank diameter, with an overall length of 2-1/2 inches. The 3-flute, single-end geometry with a 45-degree high helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The uncoated carbide construction delivers rigidity and edge retention in general-purpose milling applications. This tool is installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in a range of materials including aluminum, steel, and plastics. The centercutting design allows plunge entry, giving machinists flexibility in toolpath programming. The right-hand cut and right-hand helical flute configuration is standard for conventional CNC spindle operation. It fits common 3/8 inch collet and end mill holder systems used in vertical and horizontal machining centers across job shops, production facilities, and maintenance machining environments.
