The M.A. FORD. 12125002 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 1/4 inch diameter with a 0.02 inch corner radius, delivering controlled edge geometry that reduces stress concentrations and improves surface finish at the tool path corners. The 2-flute, single-end design with a 30-degree helix angle and coarse pitch makes it suitable for roughing operations. With a bright, uncoated finish and micrograin carbide construction, this end mill is built for rigidity and wear resistance. It is centercutting and accepts straight-cylindrical toolholders. Installation and use are performed by machinists and CNC operators in job shop and production environments.
This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The 3/4 inch length of cut and 2.5 inch overall length position it for standard-depth slot, profile, and contour milling operations. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting geometry are compatible with conventional CNC machining center setups. It is part of M.A. FORD. Series 121 and is intended for use in toolholder-based workholding systems. No coolant-through capability is present, so flood or mist coolant delivery at the spindle is the standard approach for heat management during cutting.

This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers using standard toolholder systems. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before installing or removing the end mill. Verify toolholder runout and clamping torque per the toolholder manufacturer specifications before beginning a cut. Do not exceed the rated length of cut during milling passes, as overextension increases deflection and risk of tool breakage.
