The M.A. FORD 12110010 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-precision milling in a wide range of materials. With a 0.1-inch cutting diameter, a 2-flute spiral configuration, and a 30-degree helix angle, this tool delivers clean, efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action in ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, and exotic alloys. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 0.125 inches in diameter, and the overall length is 1.5 inches, making it well suited for tight-access or fine-detail milling operations. It is an uncoated, centercutting design, allowing plunge entry as well as conventional side milling. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling specialists are the primary installers of this end mill type.
This end mill is built for applications where dimensional accuracy and surface finish quality are critical. The Series 121 regular-length geometry is appropriate for small-diameter detail work in aerospace components, medical device machining, mold and die work, and precision fixture fabrication. The primary workpiece material compatibility codes H, K, M, N, P, and S cover hardened steels, cast iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous alloys, long-chipping steel, and superalloys. Its 19/64-inch length of cut and right-hand cut, right-hand flute configuration are standard for conventional CNC vertical machining centers and manual mills with collet toolholding.
Compatible with workpiece materials coded H, K, M, N, P, and S, covering hardened steels, cast irons, stainless steels, non-ferrous alloys, long-chipping carbon steels, and superalloys. Accepts standard 1/8-inch collet or toolholder systems.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool path program is verified before loading the end mill into the collet holder. Use a properly sized 0.125-inch collet and torque to the collet manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before use and replace immediately if chipping or wear is detected.
