The M.A. FORD. 12109370T is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling of a wide range of workpiece materials. It measures 0.0937 inches in diameter with a 0.2813-inch length of cut, a 0.125-inch straight cylindrical shank, and a 1.5-inch overall length. The two-flute geometry with a 30-degree spiral helix and Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating supports efficient chip evacuation and extended tool life in demanding cutting applications. This is a centercutting tool, allowing plunge entry into workpieces. It is suited for use by machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, production environments, and tool rooms.
The 12109370T is a standard-length, straight-shank end mill from M.A. FORD. Series 121, built from micrograin solid carbide. It is compatible with workpiece material categories H, K, M, N, P, and S per standard material classification codes, covering hardened steels, cast irons, stainless steels, non-ferrous metals, general steels, and high-temperature alloys. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with conventional CNC machining center spindles. The small diameter makes it particularly applicable for fine detail milling, slotting, and profiling in tight geometries.
Designed as an OEM-style Series 121 replacement end mill suitable for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 0.125-inch straight cylindrical shank. Compatible workpiece material codes include H, K, M, N, P, and S as defined in the supplier specifications.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators. The shank should be seated fully and securely in a collet or end mill holder before operation, and runout should be checked to avoid premature tool wear at this small diameter. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Do not exceed manufacturer-recommended feeds and speeds for the workpiece material and tool diameter.
