The M.A. FORD 12109000 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in a wide range of metalworking and machining applications. With a 3/32 inch (0.0900 inch) cutting diameter and a 2-flute spiral geometry, this tool removes material efficiently at small scales where rigidity and edge sharpness are critical. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry as well as peripheral cutting. This end mill is uncoated and manufactured from solid carbide, making it suitable for controlled environments where coating is not required or where re-sharpening is intended.

This tool is installed by a machinist or CNC setup technician using a collet chuck or end mill holder rated for 1/8 inch shank diameter. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Verify collet condition and runout before use, as small-diameter carbide end mills are sensitive to excessive runout and can fracture under eccentric loading. Do not exceed manufacturer-recommended feeds and speeds for the workpiece material and depth of cut.
