With a 0.0787-inch (2.00 mm) mill diameter and a 0.2362-inch (6.00 mm) length of cut, this is a small-diameter tool built for fine detail work, slotting, and profiling in tight geometries. The 1.5-inch overall length and straight-cylindrical shank make it compatible with standard collet and toolholder setups on CNC machining centers and manual mills. Installation and use are handled by machinists and CNC operators working to close tolerances. The 30-degree helix angle supports chip evacuation while maintaining edge strength on demanding cuts.
This end mill is suited for milling a broad range of workpiece materials including cast iron, non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, steel alloys, heat-resistant superalloys, and free-machining materials, corresponding to material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working with precision milling equipment. Always ensure the spindle is fully powered down and the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully in the collet or toolholder and torque the drawbar or collet nut to the equipment manufacturer's specification. At this diameter, avoid excessive runout in the toolholder, as even small amounts of runout will shorten tool life and degrade surface finish.
