The M.A. FORD. 12107810R.007 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding material applications. It features a 0.0781 inch (5/64 inch) mill diameter, a 0.007 inch corner radius, and 2 right-hand spiral flutes with a coarse pitch. The overall length is 1.5 inches, with a 3/16 inch length of cut and a 1/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Constructed from micrograin solid carbide with a bright uncoated finish, this Series 121 tool is centercutting and single-end, making it suitable for both plunge and peripheral cutting operations. It is installed and used by machinists and tooling professionals in CNC and manual milling setups.
This end mill is suited for roughing operations across a wide range of workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. Its small diameter and corner radius geometry make it well-suited for fine detail work, slotting, and profiling in tight-tolerance applications. This tool is installed by machinists using appropriate collet chucks or end mill holders rated for the 1/8 inch shank diameter. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Verify runout and tool projection before beginning a cut. Do not exceed the recommended depth of cut for the diameter and material being machined, as small-diameter carbide end mills are susceptible to breakage under lateral overload.
