The M.A. FORD. 12107000 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.07 inch cutting diameter and a 0.21 inch length of cut, this tool removes material in a controlled, repeatable manner. The 1/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank and 1-1/2 inch overall length make it well suited for tight-clearance work and small-feature milling. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the centercutting geometry allows the tool to plunge directly into the workpiece. Machinists and tool and die shops install this end mill on CNC mills and manual knee mills.
This end mill is appropriate for use in small-part and precision component machining where tight tolerances are required. The Series 121 designation places it in M.A. FORD.'s regular-length line. The uncoated solid carbide construction suits a range of workpiece material codes including H, K, M, N, P, and S, which cover cast irons, non-ferrous metals, non-metallic materials, steel, and heat-resistant alloys. It is commonly used in prototype shops, mold and die work, and production CNC environments where small-diameter tools are routine.

Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician using a compatible 1/8 inch collet or end mill holder. Before tool changes, confirm the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in a safe state per shop lockout-tagout procedures. Verify runout at the collet and tool shank before beginning cuts, as excessive runout at this diameter will accelerate tool wear and compromise dimensional accuracy. Follow machine manufacturer torque specifications for collet nuts.
