The M.A. FORD. 12101600 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding CNC and manual machining applications. With a mill diameter of 0.0160 inches (1/64 inch) and a 2-flute, right-hand spiral configuration, this tool removes material cleanly at micro-scale cutting depths. The length of cut is 0.048 inches, making it well suited for shallow finishing passes and fine detail work. Installation Notes

Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and power isolated per facility lockout/tagout procedures. Ensure the collet or tool holder bore is clean and free of debris before seating the shank to prevent runout. At this diameter, tool projection and runout are critical — verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting. Micro-diameter carbide end mills are brittle and should not be used to pry, lever, or remove chips manually during operation.
