The M.A. FORD. 12101000 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision micro-milling applications. With a 0.01 inch cutting diameter and a 1/32 inch (0.03 inch) length of cut, this tool is engineered for fine-detail work in tight tolerances. The 1/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank and 1-1/2 inch overall length make it compatible with standard collet and toolholder setups on CNC machining centers and manual mills. Two right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle provide efficient chip evacuation at this scale. The tool is centercutting, allowing direct plunge entry. Uncoated solid carbide construction delivers consistent performance across a range of workpiece materials.
This end mill is suited for precision machining of metals and non-metals at the micro scale. The Series 121 designation covers regular-length, straight-shank square end mills intended for finishing and light slotting passes. Primary workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S indicate suitability for hardened steels, cast iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, carbon and alloy steels, and heat-resistant superalloys.
