The M.A. FORD. 11643750 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for material removal and finishing operations in ferrous and non-ferrous machining applications. The mill measures 7/16 inch (0.4375 inch) in diameter with a 1 inch length of cut and a 2-3/4 inch overall length. Three spiral flutes and a 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The straight cylindrical shank is 7/16 inch in diameter, providing consistent tool holding in standard end mill holders or collet chucks. Micrograin carbide construction delivers hardness and wear resistance suitable for production environments. This is a single-end, uncoated tool with a right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary installers.
This end mill is suited for milling slots, pockets, profiles, and contour cuts across a broad range of workpiece materials. The Series 116 designation and primary workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S indicate compatibility with material groups including hardened steels, cast irons, stainless steels, non-ferrous alloys, long-chipping steels, and high-temperature alloys.
