The M.A. FORD. 11609370R.020F is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision material removal in demanding machining applications. It features a 0.0937-inch cutting diameter with a 0.02-inch corner radius that blends the floor and wall of a milled pocket to reduce stress concentrations and improve surface finish. Three right-hand spiral flutes deliver efficient chip evacuation during both roughing and finishing passes. The tool carries a proprietary Fordlube PVD coating applied by physical vapor deposition, which reduces friction and extends tool life across a broad range of workpiece materials. Overall length is 1.5 inches with a 1/8-inch straight cylindrical shank.
This end mill is built for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills across metalworking shops, tool rooms, and production environments. Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician familiar with end mill setup and runout requirements. Secure the shank in a clean, properly sized collet or toolholder and verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting.
