The M.A. FORD. 11607810 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining applications. With a 5/64 inch (0.0781 inch) cutting diameter, 3/16 inch length of cut, and 3-flute spiral geometry, it removes material efficiently while maintaining dimensional accuracy at small scales. Built from micrograin solid carbide, this tool delivers the hardness and edge retention required for consistent performance. The uncoated finish makes it suitable for applications where coating adhesion or thermal interaction is a concern. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary users of this tooling.
This end mill is a regular-length tool in the M.A. FORD. Series 116. Its 1/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank fits standard collet chucks used in CNC machining centers and manual mills. The centercutting design allows plunge entry as well as conventional profiling and slotting. Primary workpiece material categories include cast iron, non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, aluminum alloys, superalloys, and general steels, as indicated by the manufacturer material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S. The 1-1/2 inch overall length keeps deflection low in tight-clearance setups.
Designed for use with 1/8 inch straight-collet or ER-style collet chucks on CNC machining centers and manual vertical mills. Compatible workpiece material categories per manufacturer designation: H, K, M, N, P, and S.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and machine power locked out. Verify collet bore size matches the 1/8 inch shank diameter before clamping. Do not exceed the rated length of cut of 3/16 inch to avoid tool deflection or breakage. Follow the machine tool manufacturer guidelines for speeds, feeds, and depth of cut for carbide end mills of this diameter class.
