The M.A. FORD. 11155120 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.5512-inch (14 mm) cutting diameter and a 1.181-inch (30 mm) length of cut, this single-end tool removes material efficiently across a range of workpiece materials. The 4-flute helical design with a 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and stable cutting action. Manufactured from micrograin solid carbide with a bright, uncoated finish, it delivers consistent dimensional accuracy and wear resistance in standard-length configurations. A straight-cylindrical shank with a 0.5512-inch diameter ensures secure tool holding in collet or end mill holders.
This end mill is suited for milling operations on a broad range of materials, including hardened steels, cast iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, non-metals, and high-temperature alloys, consistent with M.A. FORD. Series 111 material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S. It is a standard-reach, standard-length tool appropriate for conventional vertical and horizontal milling machine setups, CNC machining centers, and manual knee mills where a 14 mm diameter cutter is specified. It is not configured for extended-reach applications.
Rated for workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S per M.A. FORD. Series 111 classification, covering hardened steels, cast irons, stainless steels, non-ferrous metals, non-metals, and high-temperature alloys. Straight-cylindrical shank fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders sized for 14 mm or 0.5512-inch tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in a safe state before loading or removing the tool. Secure the straight-cylindrical shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder to the holder manufacturer's specified clamping procedure. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut to confirm the tool is seated correctly.
