The M.A. FORD 11137501 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling across a wide range of workpiece materials. It features a 3/8 inch diameter, a 0.015 inch corner radius (1/64 inch), and 4 right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle. The bright uncoated finish suits applications where coating is not required or where post-coating is planned. At 2.5 inches overall length with a 1 inch length of cut, this single-end, centercutting tool handles both roughing and finishing operations. Machined from micrograin carbide stock, it delivers consistent edge integrity under demanding cutting conditions. Licensed machinists and CNC operators install this tool in standard toolholders for precision milling work.
This end mill is suited for use on CNC machining centers and manual mills across a broad range of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The Series 111 designation places it within M.A. FORD's regular-length, straight-shank lineup. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry, making it versatile for slot milling, profile work, and pocket roughing. The 0.015 inch corner radius reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life in interrupted cuts and hard-material applications.

Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer or spindle lock is engaged before installing or removing the end mill. Seat the shank fully into the toolholder and torque the retention hardware per the toolholder manufacturer's specifications. Verify runout after installation using a dial indicator before initiating a cutting cycle.
