The M.A. FORD. 11125002 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. With a 1/4 inch mill diameter, 3/4 inch length of cut, and a 0.02 inch corner radius, it delivers both edge strength and dimensional control on contoured surfaces. The four-flute, single-end design with a 30-degree helix angle supports efficient chip evacuation across a wide range of workpiece materials. The bright, uncoated finish makes it suitable for applications where coating interaction with the workpiece material is a concern. This tool is centercutting and capable of both roughing and finishing operations, making it a versatile choice for skilled machinists and toolroom operators.
This end mill is engineered for use across multiple material categories including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. Its micrograin carbide construction provides the wear resistance and toughness needed for these demanding applications. Typical use cases include contouring, profiling, and finish milling in CNC machining centers and manual mills where a reliable corner radius profile is required. The straight cylindrical shank seats directly in standard end mill toolholders.
Designed for use with standard end mill toolholders accepting a 1/4 inch straight cylindrical shank. Compatible across CNC and manual milling platforms where a 1/4 inch shank end mill is specified.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and power is locked out before changing tooling. Seat the straight cylindrical shank fully in the toolholder and tighten to the toolholder manufacturer specification using the appropriate wrench. Inspect the corner radius profile and cutting edges for chips or wear before each use, and verify runout with a dial indicator when tolerances are critical.
