The M.A. FORD 11125000C is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in a wide range of materials. The micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and edge retention needed for demanding cutting applications. At 0.25 inches in diameter with a 0.75-inch length of cut and a 30-degree helical flute geometry, this end mill delivers efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The TiCN coating improves surface hardness and wear resistance, extending tool life in abrasive or high-temperature applications. It is center-cutting, meaning it can be used for both peripheral milling and plunge operations. This tool is sold individually and is suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
This end mill is rated for use across multiple workpiece material categories including cast irons, non-ferrous metals, stainless steels, non-metals, steel, and high-temperature alloys, corresponding to material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S. It is well suited for precision contouring, slotting, and profiling operations in job shops, production machining environments, and tool-and-die work. The straight-cylindrical shank fits standard ER collets and end mill holders at the common 0.25-inch size, making it easy to set up in existing tool holding systems.
Designed for use in standard 0.25-inch end mill holders and ER collet chucks on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills. Compatible with material types coded H, K, M, N, P, and S per manufacturer specifications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Use a properly sized collet or end mill holder and verify runout before cutting. Follow the machine tool manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety procedures for tool clamping torque and setup.
