The M.A. FORD. 11125000A is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations across a wide range of metallic and non-metallic workpiece materials. Built to Series 111 standards, it features a 0.250 inch mill diameter, a 0.750 inch length of cut, and a 2.5 inch overall length. The micrograin carbide substrate supports a TiAlN coating that extends tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. With four spiral flutes, a 30-degree helix angle, and centercutting capability, this end mill handles both slotting and plunge operations. It is installed by machinists and toolroom professionals in CNC and manual milling applications.
This end mill is suited for use in ferrous and non-ferrous machining environments. The workpiece material codes cover hardened steels, cast irons, stainless steels, non-ferrous alloys, general steels, and heat-resistant superalloys (material codes H, K, M, N, P, S). The straight-cylindrical shank with 0.250 inch diameter fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders. The regular-length geometry makes it a practical choice for general-purpose milling where extended reach is not required.
Compatible with workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S as designated in the input specifications, covering hardened steels, cast irons, stainless steels, non-ferrous alloys, general steels, and heat-resistant superalloys. Fits standard 1/4 inch collet chucks and end mill holders.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolroom technicians familiar with CNC or manual milling equipment. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the straight-cylindrical shank fully into the collet or end mill holder and torque the retention hardware per the tool holder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before committing to a full-depth cut.
