The M.A. FORD 11123620 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking applications. With a 0.2362 inch (6.00 mm) cutting diameter and a 0.7874 inch (20.00 mm) length of cut, this single-end tool delivers accurate material removal across a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. The four-flute, right-hand spiral configuration runs at a 30-degree helix angle, promoting efficient chip evacuation and stable cutting performance. Constructed from micrograin solid carbide, the tool holds tight tolerances and resists wear under demanding conditions. The bright, uncoated finish suits applications where coating interaction with the workpiece material is a concern.
This end mill is suited for milling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, high-temperature alloys, aluminum and non-ferrous materials, and hardened materials. It fits standard CNC machining centers and manual mills that accept a 0.2362 inch (6.00 mm) straight shank. The standard-length profile and centercutting geometry allow both slotting and plunge entry. It is a practical general-purpose tool for job shops, production floors, and maintenance machining environments where a reliable small-diameter carbide end mill is required.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and machine is powered down or in E-stop before changing tooling. Seat the straight shank fully in the collet or tool holder and torque the retention mechanism to the machine manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut, as excessive runout on small-diameter carbide tooling can cause premature breakage.
