The M.A. FORD 11118750A is a 4-flute square end mill designed for precision milling in a wide range of metalworking applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide with a TiAlN finish, this tool delivers hardness, heat resistance, and wear life beyond standard HSS tooling. The mill diameter is 0.1875 inches (3/16 inch) with a matching 3/16 inch straight-cylindrical shank, making it compatible with standard collet chucks and tool holders. The length of cut is 0.625 inches, and the overall length is 2 inches. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation during full-slot and peripheral milling operations. Centercutting geometry allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled start hole. This tool is sized for light-duty material removal and fine feature work.
The 11118750A Series 111 end mill is suited for machining operations on a broad spectrum of materials including hardened steels, cast irons, stainless steels, nonferrous alloys, high-temp alloys, and titanium alloys, consistent with workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S. Its right-hand cut and right-hand spiral flute geometry is standard for conventional vertical and horizontal CNC milling centers as well as manual knee mills. This tool is a regular-length style, appropriate for general-purpose slotting, profiling, and contouring where extended reach is not required.
The 11118750A is a Series 111 regular-length square end mill compatible with workpiece material classes H, K, M, N, P, and S as defined by the supplier attribute data. It fits any tool holder or collet accepting a 3/16 inch straight shank.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists following standard toolroom practices. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is locked out before inserting or removing the end mill from its holder. Seat the shank fully into the collet or end mill holder and verify runout before beginning a cut. Follow the tool manufacturer and machine builder recommendations for feed rate, spindle speed, and depth of cut appropriate to the workpiece material.
