The M.A. FORD. 11109370A is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in demanding machining applications. With a 0.0937-inch (3/32 inch) cutting diameter and a 0.2813-inch (9/32 inch) length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance work in small-diameter applications. It features four spiral flutes at a 30-degree helix angle and a right-hand cut with right-hand flute direction. The ALtima coating improves wear resistance and tool life across a range of workpiece materials. The micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and rigidity needed for consistent performance at elevated cutting speeds. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling professionals are the primary installers and users of this end mill.
This end mill is suited for machining a broad range of materials including hardened steels, cast iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, titanium, and high-temperature alloys, as indicated by material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S. Its 0.125-inch straight-cylindrical shank fits standard collet systems and tool holders designed for 1/8-inch shank tooling. The 1.5-inch overall length and standard length-of-cut range of 0.2000 to 0.3000 inches make it appropriate for shallow-to-moderate depth milling, slotting, and profiling operations in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
Compatible with workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S, covering hardened steels, cast iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, titanium, and high-temperature alloys. Fits any tool holder or collet accepting a 0.125-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Part of M.A. FORD. Series 111.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling professionals familiar with proper tool runout, collet torque, and cutting parameter selection. Always ensure the spindle and machine are fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Verify collet condition and shank seating depth before operation. Cutting speeds and feeds should be selected based on workpiece material and machine capability; do not exceed the tool's rated diameter tolerance of +0.000 to -0.002 inches when selecting tooling for close-tolerance features.
