The M.A. FORD. 11107000A is a 4-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding production environments. It features a 0.0700-inch cutting diameter, a 0.21-inch length of cut, and a 30-degree spiral helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The micrograin carbide substrate provides hardness and edge retention well beyond high-speed steel alternatives. An ALtima coating adds heat and wear resistance, extending tool life across a broad range of workpiece materials. This tool is intended for use by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on CNC milling equipment.
This end mill is well suited for finish and semi-finish milling of small-diameter features including slots, pockets, and profiles. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute geometry are standard for conventional CNC milling setups. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 0.125 inches in diameter, fitting standard collets and tool holders sized for 1/8-inch shanks. The overall length of 1.5 inches keeps the tool compact for close-tolerance work requiring minimal runout. Workpiece material compatibility codes include H, K, M, N, P, and S, covering hardened steels, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, non-metals, steel, and heat-resistant alloys.

Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machinists with the spindle at a full stop and the machine in a locked-out, de-energized state per your facility lockout/tagout procedures. Ensure the collet or tool holder bore is clean and free of chips before seating the shank. Verify runout with a dial indicator after securing the tool, as excessive runout on a 0.0700-inch diameter tool will accelerate edge wear and risk breakage. Follow the machine manufacturer and tooling manufacturer feeds-and-speeds recommendations for the specific workpiece material being cut.
