The M.A. FORD. 11105000A is a solid micrograin carbide square end mill engineered for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. The cutter measures 0.0500 inches in diameter with a 0.125-inch straight-cylindrical shank and an overall length of 1.5 inches. The 0.15-inch length of cut and 4-flute spiral geometry with a 30-degree helix angle deliver efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes at small diameters. An ALtima coating improves wear resistance and extends tool life in demanding cutting conditions. This end mill is centercutting and runs right-hand cut with right-hand flute direction, making it suitable for standard CNC and manual milling setups.
This Series 111 end mill is intended for use on CNC machining centers and manual mills where small-diameter precision cutting is required. It is suited for milling operations on a broad range of workpiece materials including heat-resistant alloys, cast iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, steel, and superalloys, corresponding to material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S. Machinists and tool and die makers select this cutter for slot milling, profiling, and contouring where dimensional accuracy at sub-1/8-inch diameters is critical.
Designed for use with standard 1/8-inch collets and toolholders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Suitable for workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S as designated by M.A. FORD. Series 111 classification.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in an appropriate safe state before changing tooling. Seat the 0.125-inch shank fully in the collet or toolholder and torque the retention nut according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before commencing a cut, particularly given the small cutter diameter.
