The LYNN ELECTRONICS MM9-LC is a multimode fiber optic cable designed for structured cabling and data network installations. Built around a 50-micron core diameter, this cable meets OM2, OM3, and OM4 classification standards, making it compatible with a broad range of high-bandwidth transmission applications. The 900-micron tight-buffer construction provides added mechanical protection around the fiber strand, which is the standard format for indoor fiber patch and pigtail work. Licensed low-voltage technicians and network cabling contractors are the typical installers for this type of fiber.
This cable is suited for indoor fiber runs in commercial and light industrial environments where multimode transmission is required. The 50-micron core supports higher bandwidth performance compared to legacy 62.5-micron multimode fiber, making it appropriate for Gigabit Ethernet, 10GbE, and similar high-speed data applications over short to moderate distances. It is commonly used in telecommunications rooms, data centers, and structured cabling systems where OM2, OM3, or OM4 compliance is specified.
