The LYNN ELECTRONICS FS-LH-132-BB-SASA-C is a 1x32 planar lightwave circuit (PLC) fiber splitter in a compact mini form factor with bare fiber (no connector) input and output leads. PLC splitters divide a single optical signal into multiple outputs with low insertion loss and high uniformity across all ports. This unit is designed for passive optical network (PON) infrastructure and is installed by fiber optic network technicians in FTTx, GPON, and similar broadband distribution systems. The mini form factor allows deployment in space-constrained enclosures, splice trays, and distribution boxes.
This splitter is suited for residential and commercial fiber-to-the-premises deployments where a single feeder fiber must be split to serve up to 32 subscriber drops. Typical installation locations include outside plant fiber distribution hubs, building entry points, and central office or remote terminal cabinets. The bare fiber termination style allows the installer to fusion splice directly into the existing fiber plant without requiring pre-terminated connectors.
