The LUTRON STRDSW is a companion dimmer switch designed to extend multi-location dimming control in residential and light-commercial lighting systems. It pairs exclusively with the Lutron Sunnata PRO LED+ Touch Dimmer (ST-PRO-N series) to deliver consistent, smooth LED+ dimming performance across multiple switch points. The decorator-style body features a large paddle for on/off control and a touch lightbar for brightness adjustment. Finished in Snow White with a satin aesthetic, it integrates seamlessly with other Sunnata-family devices. Licensed electricians install this device as part of a multi-location lighting control circuit.
The STRDSW is suited for residential and light-commercial applications where lighting must be controlled from more than one location in a room or corridor. Up to four companion switches can be added to a single ST-PRO-N dimmer, enabling control from as many as five locations total. Tapping the on button once recalls the favorite light level set at the primary dimmer; tapping twice delivers full brightness. Pressing and holding the off button for one second activates a 30-second delayed fade-to-off. The switch is not for standalone use and requires a compatible Sunnata PRO LED+ Touch Dimmer to function. It is available in more than 20 colors and pairs with Lutron Claro wall plates for consistent color matching.
Designed for use exclusively with the Lutron Sunnata PRO LED+ Touch Dimmer, model ST-PRO-N series. This switch is not for standalone use and will not function without a compatible ST-PRO-N primary dimmer on the same circuit.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit at the breaker panel and verify absence of voltage before wiring. This switch requires the ST-PRO-N primary dimmer to be installed and operational on the same circuit before adding companion switches. Do not use this device as a standalone dimmer or in single-pole configurations without the required primary dimmer.
