The Lutron Maestro Switch, model MSC-S8AM-BI, is designed for controlling lighting loads. It can handle up to eight amps for standard lighting and three amps for general-purpose fans. This electronic switch requires a neutral wire and is suited for multi-location applications when paired with compatible Lutron accessory switches. The switch allows for the use of up to nine accessory switches to create multiple control points for a single light fixture.
