The LUKJAN RB206108 is a straight duct boot fitting designed for use in forced-air HVAC distribution systems. This fitting connects rectangular duct runs to floor, wall, or ceiling register openings, transitioning airflow from the trunk line to the conditioned space. The boot measures 6 inches by 10 inches by 8 inches and is built for straightforward duct-to-register connections. HVAC installers and sheet metal mechanics use this type of fitting during new construction and retrofit duct installations where a direct, non-angled transition is required.
This straight boot is suited for residential and light commercial forced-air systems where the register opening aligns directly with the duct run. It is appropriate for supply-side applications in standard low-pressure duct systems. The straight configuration simplifies installation in floor or ceiling cavities where there is adequate clearance for a perpendicular duct-to-register connection without offset or angular adjustment.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for residential and light commercial forced-air duct systems using 6-inch by 10-inch rectangular duct with an 8-inch collar or register opening.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians or qualified sheet metal mechanics. Turn off the air handler or furnace at the disconnect before working in the duct system. Secure the boot to the duct trunk with sheet metal screws and seal all joints with approved mastic sealant or UL 181-rated foil tape per local mechanical code requirements. Do not rely on duct tape alone for sealing pressure joints.
