The LUBRIPLATE L0247-007 is a mineral-based gear oil packaged in a 1-gallon bottle, formulated for heavy-duty lubrication of enclosed gear cases, bearings, chains, and machine ways. It carries an ISO 460 viscosity grade and an SAE 140 rating, with a measured viscosity of 2260 SUS at 100 degrees F and 148 SUS at 210 degrees F. The amber-colored oil is manufactured under ISO 9001 registered quality standards. It is intended for installation and maintenance by industrial mechanics, millwrights, and field service technicians working on mechanical drive systems and rotating equipment.

This gear oil is suited for enclosed gear drives, chain drives, bearing housings, general machine oiling points, and machine way lubrication in both industrial and commercial maintenance settings. The high viscosity index supports use in applications that see elevated operating temperatures up to 210 degrees F.
