The LS ELECTRIC 706101800 is the MMS-63H Metasol manual motor starter rated for 50 amps of continuous current. It provides manual on/off control combined with integrated thermal overload protection in a single compact device. Designed to IEC standards, the MMS-63H protects three-phase and single-phase electric motors from damage caused by sustained overcurrent conditions. Screw terminal connections simplify field wiring. This starter is intended for installation inside control panels or directly at motor control equipment by qualified electricians and industrial maintenance technicians.
The MMS-63H is suited for industrial and commercial motor starting applications where a manually operated disconnect and overload relay are required in one unit. Typical installations include manufacturing equipment, assembly line drives, pump controls, conveyor systems, and HVAC fan motors. Its compact footprint makes it practical for panel builders working with limited enclosure space. The device accommodates a wide range of IEC motor types, supporting flexible deployment across facility and process control environments.
Designed as an IEC-rated manual motor starter suitable for industrial and commercial motor control applications requiring manual disconnect and integrated thermal overload protection at up to 50A.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable codes, including NFPA 70 (NEC) and local authority requirements. Disconnect and lock out all power to the motor circuit before mounting, wiring, or adjusting the device. Verify that the motor full-load amperage falls within the starter overload adjustment range before energizing. Do not exceed the 50A rated current for any continuous load application.
