The LS ELECTRIC 6041002700 is a G100-series variable frequency drive (VFD) designed for three-phase AC motor control in industrial and commercial applications. Rated at 7.5 hp in heavy-duty (CT) mode and 10 hp in normal-duty (VT) mode, it accepts input voltages from 380 to 480 VAC three-phase. The drive ships with a built-in 7-segment keypad for local parameter programming and includes an integrated EMI/RFI filter to reduce line noise. The IP20/UL Type 1 enclosure suits indoor panel installations. Output current reaches 12 A in heavy-duty mode and 16 A in normal-duty mode at three phase. Licensed electricians and industrial controls technicians are the primary installers of this equipment.
This VFD fits variable-speed motor control tasks in commercial HVAC systems, pumping, conveying, and general industrial machinery. It also supports single-phase input operation, delivering up to 3 hp heavy-duty (CT) or 5 hp normal-duty (VT) from a single-phase 380 to 480 VAC source, making it a flexible option where full three-phase service is not available. The G100 frame size 4 form factor and DIN-rail mounting type simplify installation inside standard control enclosures. Remote cable control capability allows integration with external PLCs or building automation systems.
The 6041002700 is an LS ELECTRIC G100-series frame size 4 drive compatible with three-phase AC induction motors rated at 7.5 hp heavy-duty or 10 hp normal-duty on 380 to 480 VAC, and with single-phase-input applications up to 3 hp heavy-duty or 5 hp normal-duty on the same voltage range.
Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and any applicable local codes. Disconnect and lock out all power to the panel before wiring the drive input or output terminals. Never connect the drive output directly to the power supply line or install power-factor correction capacitors on the output side. Allow adequate clearance around the enclosure for ventilation, as the drive operates up to 50 degrees C in heavy-duty service.
