The LS ELECTRIC 6031006100 is a three-phase variable frequency drive (VFD) from the S100 series, rated for 50 horsepower at 460 volts in Heavy-Duty (constant torque) service. It provides stepless AC motor speed control using Sensorless Vector or V/F control modes, making it suitable for pumps, fans, compressors, and general industrial motor loads. The drive ships with an IP20/NEMA 1 enclosure, a built-in LCD keypad for local parameter access, and an integrated DC link reactor that reduces line harmonics without external components. Output current in Heavy-Duty mode is 75 amps at three phase, with a 150 percent overload capacity sustained for 60 seconds. Net weight is 77.2 pounds.
The 6031006100 targets commercial and light industrial applications where a panel-mount or enclosure-mount drive is required for three-phase induction motor control. In three-phase Heavy-Duty service the drive supports up to 50 hp; in Normal-Duty (variable torque) service capacity rises to 60 hp at three phase. Single-phase input is also supported at reduced output ratings: 25 hp Heavy-Duty and 30 hp Normal-Duty. The S100 platform is commonly installed in mechanical rooms, equipment panels, and motor control centers by licensed electricians and industrial automation technicians handling HVAC-scale and process motor applications.
Designed for use with three-phase AC induction motors in 380 to 480 VAC systems requiring variable speed control in Heavy-Duty or Normal-Duty service up to 60 hp at three phase. This unit is the LS ELECTRIC S100 series frame size 13 drive.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 430 and applicable local codes. Disconnect and lock out all power to the drive and connected motor before any wiring or mounting work. The IP20/NEMA 1 enclosure requires mounting inside a suitable protective panel or enclosure to guard against accidental contact with live terminals. Verify input voltage, phase configuration, and motor nameplate data against drive parameters before energizing.
