The LS ELECTRIC 1299001100 is a three-pole thermal overload relay from the Metasol Series, designed to provide overcurrent protection for three-phase motor loads in industrial and commercial electrical systems. Rated at 21.5 amps with an adjustable setting range of 18 to 25 A, it trips at Class 20 to protect motors from sustained overloads and phase loss conditions. The relay operates at an input voltage of 690 volts and carries a 690 V insulation voltage rating along with a 6 kV withstand voltage. It features a 1NO-1NC contact configuration and supports both automatic and manual reset modes. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this device.
The 1299001100 is suited for motor branch circuit protection in industrial panels, control cabinets, and motor control centers operating at up to 690 V. It mounts on standard DIN rail or directly to a panel surface, making it adaptable to a range of enclosure configurations. The Metasol Series is engineered for pairing with compatible contactors in full motor starter assemblies. With an operating temperature range of -25 to 60 degrees C, this relay functions reliably in demanding environments including outdoor enclosures and unheated mechanical rooms.
Part of the LS ELECTRIC Metasol Series; designed for use in motor starter assemblies with compatible Metasol Series contactors operating on three-phase systems up to 690 V at 50 or 60 Hz.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements and local electrical codes. De-energize and lock out the circuit before mounting, wiring, or adjusting the relay. Secure screw terminals to the rated torque of 20 lb-in using an appropriate screwdriver; under-tightened terminals can cause overheating and nuisance trips. Mount in vertical plane orientation as specified for accurate thermal calibration.
