The LOUISVILLE LADDER L-3022-24PT is a 24-foot fiberglass Type IA extension ladder rated for a 300-pound load capacity. Built for professional trade use, this ladder features non-conductive fiberglass rails that make it appropriate for electrical work where metal contact is a hazard. It ships with the PRO TOP, a multifunctional upper section that integrates a work tray with tool slots and a V-shape design engineered for stability when leaning against building corners or round poles. Soft non-marking rubber tread protects finished surfaces. Licensed electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and general contractors will find the 300-pound rating sufficient for a fully loaded tool belt.
This ladder is suited for residential and light commercial applications where extended vertical reach is required. The 24-foot extended length makes it appropriate for single-story roofline access, second-floor window service, and overhead mechanical or electrical work on exterior walls. The PRO TOP work tray keeps hand tools and small parts within reach during a climb, reducing trips up and down the ladder on multi-step service calls.
Designed as a standalone professional extension ladder for general trade use. Meets OSHA, ANSI, and CSA standards for Type IA ladder applications.
Extension ladders must be set at a 75-degree angle, approximately one foot of base distance for every four feet of working height, per ANSI A14.5 guidelines. Inspect all rungs, locks, and shoes before each use. Position the base on firm, level ground and secure the top to the structure when overhead work requires both hands. A second person should foot the ladder when conditions are not ideal.
