The LOCTITE 302678 is a high temperature anti-seize lubricant formulated with a graphite composition for use on threaded fasteners, fittings, and assemblies that operate in extreme heat environments. Rated to 2,000 degrees F, this lubricant prevents galling, seizing, and corrosion on metal connections exposed to high heat cycling. The 16 oz brush-top container allows direct application without additional tools. It is water-resistant, VOC compliant at 4.7 g/L, and carries an off-white color for easy visual confirmation of coverage. Licensed HVAC technicians, pipefitters, plumbers, and industrial maintenance professionals use this product during assembly and maintenance of high-heat systems.
This anti-seize compound is suited for residential and commercial applications wherever threaded metal connections are exposed to sustained or cyclic high temperatures. Typical installation scenarios include exhaust system fasteners, boiler fittings, heat exchanger components, flange bolts, and pipe threads in high-heat mechanical systems. The graphite-based formula is compatible with all alloys, brass, cast iron, copper, stainless steel, and standard steel substrates.

Apply to clean, dry fastener threads before assembly. Pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and plumbers should follow applicable codes such as the IFGC or IPC for threaded connection requirements in gas and piping systems. Wear appropriate chemical-resistant gloves during application. Do not apply to surfaces where contact with open flame or direct ignition sources may occur prior to full assembly.
