The LOCTITE 1999141 is a general purpose anti-seize lubricant in a 7 oz tube, designed to prevent galling, corrosion, and thread seizing on metal fasteners and fittings. It uses an aluminum base with a silver composition and covers a wide service temperature range of -22 degrees F to 1,652 degrees F (-30 degrees C to 900 degrees C), making it suitable for high-heat applications found in HVAC, plumbing, and industrial mechanical work. The tube format gives technicians precise, controlled application with minimal waste. It is formulated for extreme pressure conditions and meets VOC compliance requirements.
This anti-seize compound is used across residential and commercial trade applications wherever threaded fasteners, studs, bolts, or fittings are subject to heat, corrosion, or galvanic action. HVAC technicians apply it to compressor bolts, flue fittings, and exhaust hardware. Plumbers and pipefitters use it on threaded pipe connections and valve stems exposed to high temperatures. It is equally suited for electrical conduit fittings and pool equipment hardware subject to chemical exposure. The 7 oz tube is intended for single-technician use and field service kits.

This product is not water resistant, so it is not recommended for submerged or continuously wet environments. Always follow the fastener manufacturer torque guidance, as anti-seize compounds affect friction coefficients and may require torque value adjustments.
