The LOCTITE 1852755 is a general purpose anti-seize compound in a 12 oz aerosol can, formulated with a non-metallic, molybdenum-based composition. It prevents threaded fasteners and close-fitting parts from galling, seizing, and corrosion-induced locking during service. The wide-spray aerosol delivery allows fast, even application across fastener threads, flanges, and mating surfaces. Rated for an operating range of -20 degrees F to 750 degrees F, it suits high-temperature service environments found in HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, and industrial piping. The black, conductive compound is classified as flammable with a flash point of 155 degrees F. Installation and maintenance technicians across multiple trades use this product as a standard part of bolted and threaded assembly work.
This anti-seize compound is suited for use on stainless steel fasteners and close-tolerance parts where seizing or thread damage is a concern. It applies in residential and commercial settings alike, covering boiler flanges, pipe unions, pump hardware, conduit fittings, and equipment mounting hardware exposed to heat cycling or corrosive environments. The aerosol format is particularly useful in confined spaces or when working overhead where brush application is impractical. It is part of the LOCTITE LB 8012 MOLY PASTE series.
Designed for use on stainless steel threaded fasteners and close-fitting parts across general industrial, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance applications.
Apply only to clean, dry fastener threads or mating surfaces before assembly. Use in well-ventilated areas — this product is flammable with a flash point of 155 degrees F, so keep away from open flame or ignition sources during application. Shake the can well before use and follow all safety data sheet guidance for handling and storage. This product is intended for use by qualified trade technicians familiar with fastener torque procedures appropriate to the application.
