The Energy Smart Control Board with Cover houses and protects the control panel, main door logic board and wall sensor interface.
This Energy Smart Control Board with Cover is designed to fit certain A.O. Smith and A.O. Smith models with serial numbers that begin with 28P00000; 29P00000; 29P20000; or 30P00000, manufactured June 2004 to December 2006.
The Energy Smart Control Board with Cover is part of your water heater. It is used to ensure that the energy efficient components on your water heater are working properly.
The Control Board is designed to fit A.O. Smith and EnergySmart water heaters with a model number matching 100093770. This is also available in a package containing all of the components necessary for installation. Be sure to only use the specified parts in order to meet ANSI code requirements.
The Control Board with Cover assembly from A.O. Smith can be used to replace a broken or malfunctioning component on select heating and cooling models. The cover provides an aesthetic quality to your unit, while the control board itself monitors the internal workings of your system for better performance.
The EnergySmart board cover is used to replace the control board cover on 1/2 hp (2436psi) circulation pump models.
