The Littelfuse NLN005 is a fast acting fuse designed for circuit protection in applications where short circuit currents are below fifty thousand amperes. This fuse replaces older Class H models which are limited to a maximum interrupting rating of ten thousand amperes. The NLN005 is ideal for residential and smaller commercial or industrial environments, providing essential protection. The design allows for use in Canadian Electrical Code Type P environments, supporting up to ten thousand amperes interrupting rating. For applications requiring additional delay and current limitation, the POWR-PRO IDSR fuses are recommended for circuits between two hundred fifty and six hundred volts.
