The LITTELFUSE FLM.800 is a midget time-delay fuse rated for 250 volts, designed for overcurrent protection in low-amperage branch circuits and control panel applications. The time-delay characteristic allows the fuse to absorb brief inrush currents common in motor loads and transformer primaries without nuisance opening, while still providing fast response to sustained overcurrent faults. Its compact midget form factor fits standard 13/32-inch by 1-1/2-inch fuseholders commonly found in control panels, HVAC equipment, and light commercial electrical enclosures. Licensed electricians and HVAC controls technicians are the primary installers.
This fuse is suited for use in residential and light commercial applications where a midget-class time-delay fuse is specified. Typical installation scenarios include control circuit protection in HVAC systems, small motor branch circuits, lighting transformer primaries, and low-amperage panel branch circuits. The 250-volt rating covers the majority of single-phase control and branch circuit applications found in trade work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for midget time-delay fuses in standard 13/32-inch by 1-1/2-inch fuseholders rated at 250 volts.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified HVAC controls technician in accordance with NEC Article 240 requirements for overcurrent protection. De-energize and lockout/tagout the circuit before removing or installing any fuse. Verify the replacement fuse amperage rating matches the circuit protection requirements exactly before reinstalling. Never substitute a fuse of a higher amperage rating to correct a nuisance opening condition.
