The LIONBEAM lkv683poe-4.0 is a point-to-point HDMI extender kit that transmits 4K video and audio at 30Hz over a single Cat5, Cat6, or Cat7 Ethernet cable at distances up to 394 feet (120 meters). The kit includes one transmitter unit and one receiver unit. It uses high-definition digital transmission technology to maintain signal integrity over long cable runs without signal boosters or amplifiers. Power over Ethernet (POE) support simplifies installation by reducing dedicated power runs to the receiver. IR signal pass-through allows control of source devices from the display location.
This extender kit is suited for residential and light commercial AV installations where HDMI sources must feed displays located far from the source equipment. Typical applications include conference rooms, digital signage, home theater setups, and back-of-house AV routing. Compatible source and display devices include HD set-top boxes, DVD players, gaming consoles such as PS3, and similar HDMI-output equipment. The kit operates over existing structured Ethernet cabling infrastructure, including installations tied into a LAN router or switch.
Designed for use with HDMI-equipped source devices including HD set-top boxes, DVD players, PS3, and similar equipment. Operates over Cat5, Cat6, or Cat7 structured cabling and is compatible with LAN routers and switches for shared network infrastructure deployments.
Installation is typically performed by AV technicians or low-voltage contractors. Power down all source and display equipment before connecting or disconnecting the transmitter and receiver units. Verify that the Ethernet cable run meets the maximum 394-foot distance and is terminated to TIA-568 standards before testing signal. Do not exceed the rated cable distance, as signal degradation beyond the rated run is not correctable by adjusting source output settings.
