The LIONBEAM lb-hdmi-rec1004 is an HDbitT-protocol HDMI-over-IP receiver designed to extend full HD 1080p video signals up to 120 meters (approximately 393 feet) over a single Cat5, Cat5e, or Cat6 UTP or STP network cable. Operating at DC 5V with a power draw of 3W on the receiver end, this unit decodes the incoming IP-based video stream and outputs a clean HDMI signal to the connected display. IR signal passthrough (20 to 60 kHz) lets technicians control the source device from the remote display location. AV integrators and low-voltage installation technicians are the primary trade for this device.
This receiver is suited for commercial and residential AV distribution applications where a single HDMI source must be extended or split across a networked infrastructure. Because it is compatible with standard network switching equipment, it can be deployed alongside existing Cat5e or Cat6 structured cabling plants without dedicated point-to-point cable runs. Supported resolutions span from 480i at 60 Hz through 1080p at 60 Hz, making it appropriate for conference rooms, digital signage, classrooms, and similar fixed-installation environments. This unit is the receiver only and requires a compatible HDbitT transmitter to complete the signal path.
Designed for use with HDbitT-protocol HDMI-over-IP transmitters over Cat5, Cat5e, or Cat6 UTP or STP cabling. Works with existing network switching equipment. Receiver only — a compatible HDbitT transmitter is required for a complete system.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed low-voltage or AV systems technician following applicable local codes and TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Power down or disconnect all connected source and display devices before making or breaking HDMI and network cable connections. Verify cable runs do not exceed 120 meters and that patch cables meet Cat5e or Cat6 specifications to maintain signal integrity at 1080p. Do not exceed the DC 5V 1A power supply rating on the receiver.
