The LIONBEAM lb-bal05 is a 1-channel passive video balun designed for transmitting analog video signals over unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) cable. The tail-type design terminates with a flying lead rather than a wall-plate or keystone connector, making it well-suited for direct wiring into cameras, DVRs, and junction boxes. Passive baluns require no external power source, which simplifies installation and reduces points of failure. Security installers and low-voltage technicians use this balun to extend video runs and eliminate the cost and labor of running coaxial cable.
